Workout Tracker · Danny Pham
Effective 20 October 2026
This policy explains what information Workout Tracker collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can use much of the app without an account; signing in enables backup, friends, and sharing.
At a glance: We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. Data you send to our online services is protected in transit with encryption. You can delete your account and data at any time — see Delete account & data.
Account (optional). If you sign in with Google Sign-In, we receive information from your Google account such as your name, email address, and profile photo. You may also choose a public username so friends can find you.
Workouts and app content. We store the training information you enter, including workouts and sessions (exercises, sets, reps, weight, duration, and notes), templates, custom exercises, calendar notes, rest-day preferences, and app settings such as units and theme.
Friends and sharing. If you use social features, we process friend connections, friend requests, workouts you choose to share, and activity visible to you and your friends according to your sharing settings.
Celebration media. If you add images or GIFs for workout celebrations, we store the media you provide so it can be shown in the app and synced across your devices when you are signed in.
Notifications (optional). If you turn on push notifications, we store a device token and basic device information (such as platform and device type) so we can send reminders and friend-activity alerts you configure. The app may also show on-device alerts for rest timers and workout status while you train.
Health Connect (Android, optional). If you connect Google Health Connect and grant permission, we read heart rate data to show workout summaries (such as average and peak heart rate) during and after your workouts. We use this data only to provide this feature in Workout Tracker — not for advertising, not sold, and not shared with data brokers, consistent with Health Connect policies. Summaries may be saved with your workout history and synced when you are signed in. Your choice to use Health Connect is stored on your device.
Your data is stored on your device and, when you sign in, on secure servers operated by cloud hosting providers. Information sent between the app and our services is encrypted in transit.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Workout details are visible to other people only when you use sharing features and choose who can see them (for example, friends you add). We use trusted service providers (such as Google for sign-in and cloud hosting for storage) only to operate the app.
We keep your account and synced data while your account is active. Data stored only on your device remains until you clear it or uninstall the app. When you delete your account, we follow the timeline described on our Delete account & data page.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us using the email below to make a request.
We use industry-standard protections for data in transit. No system is perfectly secure — please protect your device and your Google account.
Workout Tracker is not intended for anyone under 18 and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date when we do.
